I am a "former" hip-hop listener, since this once badass music went rotten and downgraded thanks to mumble rap, music industry and trends in general, I only listen to good old songs.Jazz helped me discover my second me and I will never describe that feeling, why I like it.Maybe it is because 100 years ago, people were just nice to each other in general, politeness was cool and normal and rhe world was just lovely and okay, even during that Great Depression. That era is reflecting through those songs and thanks to them, you can at least feel, how it was back in those days.Thank you Al Bowlly, Count Basie, Louis Jordan, Cab Calloway, Ella Fitzgerald, Harry James, Bing Crosby, Fats Waller and many others!Guys and gals, take those names into consideration, search it and make jazz music great again.
This song in voice of Al Bowlly is magic, espectacular, lovely, mistery and enigmatic. I love this song: "Close your Eyes" . I go to other dimension with this wonderful song.
