What a beautiful piece. I have been listening to Bert for 50 years and I still can’t get enough of his music.

I always notice how many rock acts copied or at least were influenced by Jansch. I keep hearing a subtle Eight Miles High riff here.

The melody idea of this piece crops up on a number of other Jansch recordings. Bittern on the Avocet album, and at the end of Wayward Child on Rosemary Lane. Maybe there are others. What a fantastic musician he was.
