This is Ssssuuupppeerrr creeepppyyyy because this is pretty much the first time in my entire life I have looked at a playlist & listened & been so aligned, Billy Holiday singin that lyrical masterpiece after the rest really is great, good stuff
It sounds to me as if Ella Fitzgerald sang from her mouth, but Billie from her heart. And more..Billie is as well phrasing with her vocal , just as Chet Baker with his vulnerable trumpet.
Nothing better. For all the jadedness of her voice here, the song retains its beauty and romanticism. I like Dinah and Harold Land very much, but Billie kills it. Brava!
