I find this kind of jazz sublime. I guess the rhythm or melody keeping it together works for me, when it gets less melodious than this, I like it much less. Also why doesnt everyone play the bass guitar, this was so amazing. I mean in indian classical we have the sarod and the sitar, and the virtuosity on these kinds of string instruments is closest matched by this bass guitar.
