This takes me back. I was a wet-behind-the-ears college boy in love with a free-sprited musician girl in one of my classes. I worked at a Blockbuster and this song was new on the trailers. She would pop in the store sometimes too but I would never make the big move to the point coworkers joked that it was my song. I made a deal with them I would ask her out IF she walked in AND the song was on at the same time. Well, you can guess what happened, both aligned like an omen so I had to try. Last in the world I thought would happen happened totally almost passed out when she gave me her number! Older me looks back and it was obvious that we both wanted to get together but it still felt like magic!
