Had a chance to see Cibo Matto on tour promoting this album, way back in the day in Lawrence, KS. This was at a small, smokey rock bar like every college town has. Before thier set, Yuka Honda came out and asked the crowd very politely if everyone would please put out thier cigarettes, as Miho Hatori was very sensitive to smoke while performing. Everyone obliged for the whole set. It was such a cool night. I was even able to meet Sean Lennon. Good times.
can someone explain the time signatures in the chorus to me?it sounds like one bar of 6/8 or 6/4 (idk) than two 5/4 or 5/8 and than is it 8/4 or two 4/4 bars?does it really matter at all?
The whole album is perfection and this is in my top three all time faves of theirs, along with the album being in my top twenty. Yet, I say Cibo Matto to ANYONE and I get a glazed look and *crickets*.
