Not one to EVER criticize the Commodores music writing. But cowbells at the middle and end of this song with that bass line would have added to a funkier ending.

I remember this song around 80s, in school uniforms with friends,we would go in mwaisen stores and listen to the song at a music parlour,great old days gone.
