This song is probably the best rendition of the concept of the saddest happiness (blues)... or stated in the opposite sense ... the happiest sadness! This David Brubeck / Paul Desmond track is absolute genius! I would love for this track to be played as a major theme in my spiritual remembrance at my “life celebration” - when the time comes! I started listening to this in my teen years decades ago! It still moves me!
