I was lucky to see Frankie and The Teenagers on their UK tour in the 50s; it was so sad that his life ended the way it did; he made some great solo records, like this, but never enjoyed things like he did in the early days; he more or less died in the gutter through drug abuse, such a waste of a great talent. RIP Frankie, gone but never forgotten

This version is O.k, but there is another version where he kills it.

The Teenagers are not on this recording. Lymon had gone solo in 1957, and this was released in 1960.
