What more can you say about Frankie Valli and his amazing career.
I just never get tired of listening to his music, solo or with the group.
He takes a ballard like "Ivy" and makes it his own.
So many more like this in his song book.
One of the greatest voices of our generation.
Thanks for posting.
This is one of my all time favorite Valli songs and off an album that I listen to 1-2 Tims a week. One of my favorite albums by this incredible singer.
I think the arrangement was by Denny Randell who also wrote the song, I believe he is playing the piano, i have read that the last few piano notes are him ending the song and counting down the instrumentalists. anyone else have other info!!! Artie Schroek can you come up with info please Artie is probably playing the vibes and xylophone on this tune
I was in High School when this came out and I thought that this was the greatest Frankie Valli song of all time. I think that still. It brings back so many wonderful memories. What a fantastic song and what a fantastic song. Why was it never released as a single? I think that it would have been a monster hit.
