R.I.P. to Mr. Patrick Ellis, longtime host of "Sunday Morning Gospel"/"Gospel Spirit" on WHUR (Howard University Radio), who died yesterday in Annapolis at 77 years old from COVID-19 complications. This version of "Come Ye Disconsolate" was played at the end of his show for decades. Prayers for his family, and friends in the industry. So long to a big part of my formative years.
