In an interview just after leaving HP, Frampton said he was tired of making "heavy Rock" and wanted to do more country- ballads tipe of songs. Was he wrong ? Only 5 years later went number 1 with "Frampton comes alive!" After that he lost his way on what to do musically, as "he said". But with a pocket full of millions, who cares ?
