What a stunning, unforgettable song. Jack was a fierce talent. "Songs For A Tailor" is a five star album. A huge departure from Cream. He was his own man.
I feel Jack was one of the best composers of our generation, he never "sold out" his artistry to gain popularity or money. He was also an incredible, completely unique vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, and of course, one of the most influential bassists to ever play the instrument. John Entwistle is rightly praised for changing the sound of bass guitar, and elevating how it can be played, I feel Jack had just as bit of impact. His bass sound was totally unique, and his technique was incredible.
