This song is absolutely gorgeous, Jerry’s voice is so beautiful, it is rich and gentle and it rolls up and down so smoothly. His guitar playing is truly remarkable and clearly his skill in song writing is evident, but combine those two attributes with his voice and it shows that Jerry had such enormous talent. Then added to that, Jerry could also act and there’s not many artists who have all of those abilities! Going back to this particular song, his guitar picking and voice makes this one of the most wonderful songs around for it’s time and even the great Johnny Cash doesn’t even get close to doing this song justice!
