I remember being obsessed with Mermaids: The Body Found, and this song, when I was 8. I will never forget this catchy, haunting melody. Once I saw the documentary (Even though it was fake), those were literally the ONLY mermaids that I believed would ever be real. I know it was kind of weird for me to see the content in the film at a young age, but it never bothered me and I’m glad I saw it.That documentary will always be in my heart
Writing a story about s young man turning to piracy, I really can visualize the scene of him just sitting at the bow of a ship, looking out to the horizon as dawn approaches. The rise of the quartet would then be the sun rising, a new dawn and beginning on his newfound life.
I dance as a hobby and when i was 17 my dance company did a modern dance to this song. 5 strong, great dancers. Brings back soooo many memories. One of the best dance pieces i ever participated in :). Thanks for sharing this song.
Like the first light of dawn, this music opens your eyes to new promises and to all the wonders of nature. Evocative of powers beyond observation, these pieces pull the strings of the heart, attract nostalgia and awaken the loves, the skinned lives and torpor of the sleeping watchmen
