Beautiful! Never heard this version. I learned it in 1970 off the 1969 “Upon this Rock” album.Always thought it was about the Rapture, but watching some new video footage from Kabul, thinking of an Afghan man and wife who’d collaborated with the U.S. and have SIV Visas trying to get to the Airport. It ends with the wife, the one the Taliban didn’t arrest, watching the last C-17 take off into the sunrise. She’s been left behind.
