Used to work in a jazz club in Paris as a bartender. It was a tough time personally, I had a day job too, and my personal life was kind of a ruin. The bar would be empty when the concert was on, but I could hear just fine. When the band played this, tears gushed out of my eyes and I crumbled, and silently sobbed my heart out alone.. It helped me heal.
I remember you Lee Morgan and will never forget you. Gone 49 years today, you are still one of the best horn players of the 20th century and my favorite. You horn touches my soul like no other. God Bless You Sweet Man!
