I have loved his music from the first time I heard it.

This was live album recorded at Tips just before The Fess died.. I was there and what a party. Released after The Fess died suddenly in 1980....it was a real shock to a lot of us who idolized the mans music. All through the seventies, especially after Tips was started by a nucleus of folks who understood in their bones what The Fess and others like Earl King, Nevilles meant to the soul. of New Orleans. it was an amazing time. . Has Fess lived he would have broke out nationally with this album
