About 10 years ago, I was performing at a retirement home in south Florida. A gentlemen came over to me and said he used to be a professional singer and would like to put on a show for his neighbors. He wanted me to play piano for him. I agreed and went to his apartment to rehearse. I saw old sheet music with his picture and pictures of him with British royalty. It turned out to be Robert Earl. Still sang very well. I spoke to him a few weeks ago -- he turned 90 in November.
