Boy, we used to juke to the "Freaky deaky," "The funky donkey,." back in the day. HAPPY NEW YEAR, everybody...
“BATMAN’S DEN”
The party’s really jumpin’
On the floor, we’re freaky-deaky and bumpin’
And who can’t dance, they just be stompin’
Down deep in the den
Strobe lights a-flashing all in tune, here there’s no clashin’,
We’re gonna’ jam tonight at Batman’s Den.
In the heart of Norfolk City, we got down to the nitty-gritty,
Women dancin’ lookin’ pretty all night long in Norfolk City.
We’re getting’ down! This place really rocks,
On the floor so wild we dance
And no one’s watchin’ the clock in Batman’s den.
The Freaky-Deaky was the dance back then,
Roy Ayres, you are the man who made the den
So wild and upbeat with dance
The den submitted;
Music never quitted as the soulful ones got down.
Everybody dancin’ and soulfully romancin’,
Having a great time at the Den, the Den, Batman’s Den;
A hard act to follow.
