All of you saying this is the birth of rock and roll should understand this song was recorded in the late 50s, after rock and roll came into existence. If you listen to Blackwell’s early recordings from 1928 they are very different (and better imo). If you want to hear the actual “birth of rock and roll” listen to Willie Nix, although that’s technically jump blues.
