I discovered Steely Dan in 1980 thanks to Gaucho, and have been a fan since them. By far one of the best musicians of our time!

I’m on a major Steely Dan retrospective tonight. My favorite band hands down for over 40 years. I did however forget about Haitian Divorce somehow. I used to love this song. The fuzz wah. The vibes. The point-counterpoint at the end between the fuzz wah guitar, and the second guitar, with the vibes in the background. OMG. I should wake up and say a prayer to Donald and Walter every day to thank them for what they brought into the musical world…

I was in my teens and twenties in the 70s and as such had the benefit of the best music era. Steely Dan was part of that. What a band. What a sound. And unlike some 70s music their music is timeless. This track is one of my favs. Yay The Dans!
