Strawbs - Flying mp3 download

I remember buying this album. I would say it’s the Strawbs best album ever.

I grew up in the best time; teenager and youngster in the years 1968 - 1980. There were just SO MANY awesome bands, including Strawbs, which I have just rediscovered today!

I still have my original vinyl album from 1972 at age 21. This group still sounds really great.

Absolutely agree, love this Album still all these years later I still listen to this in my car, etc Takes me back--- I just love the words and music put together ❤️

Whenever I listen to this, I am flying back to what seems like another world to me now ...flying, flying beyond the billows and boundaries of space to a lost time of love and innocence.

Mao...what a great re discovery.....great song.

I was a 5th grade school teacher when this was released. I used to play guitar and sing this song to the kids. They loved it and always asked me to play it for them.

Still gives me goosebumps. Their best tracks, peaking in ‘Ghosts’ was an ability to have 2 very emotive and different musical themes which transform from one to the next by the most perfect morphing and harmony, in a single track. Superb

What a beautiful introduction to my teenage years

Great song.. fantastic drum sound. Compared to the noise that passes for music these days...real talent..real songwriters and musicians. Sublime.
