In 1964 I got the Time Further Out vinyl record ... with Bluette as runner up Far More Blue will be one of the tunes to be played at my ever to be funeral ... these few funeral visitors wil be forced wondering what was that special on these four guys playing these abstract (to their ears) music after previously being noticed this classically educated piano player with his jazzy deviation being rescued by the super creative Paul Desmond keeping it all in balance ... Besides that they also will be subjected to one piece by Bach played by this other controversial piano player from Canada ... Glenn Gould ...

Smoking a cigar, listening to this music, drinking a good cognac. I think I don’t need anything more.

Paul Desmond at his very best soulful and blue.

Being playing this one (on piano) for years and still find it really tricky!
