The resplendent, transfixing melodies that permeate this masterpiece make it the apotheosis of a "song to fall in love with," manifestly so, from the male perspective, when assisted by courting a woman with a "face to fall in love with."The brass section, which sounded to me to be trombones, was as mellow and as gorgeous as it gets. A shout-out to Al Stillman and Robert Allen for writing this song, which has melancholicundertones for any mature adult who looks back on departed joys and unforgotten love.
