Almost perfect music. I love the bass in this song. Anneke is so good. Pity she`s not more in band. I don`t think that she makes this kind of music with vuur. But i have to understand that she will achieve different kind of things with music when she still breaths.
Every The Gathering songs reminds me of a relationship I had. Great, yet complicated. It really bonded us, and when The Gathering came to Brazil the first time, I got a chance to interview Anneke for a website and my girlfriend came along. It was a vevry emotional moment for us, she even asked for hug from Anneke, which she gladly gave her. Sometimes I struggle to hear this one, but it brings me good memories and a warm feeling.
This song was my salvation when I went through treatment for drug addiction... the entire album helped me make it thru one day at a time... her voice is do mesmerizing and angelic...

Anneke is too good for the gathering to be honest. None of the band mates even comes close to her musicianship level. They are good in their own but anneke is in a whole other level. There is very few songs of the gathering in which i say "wow, i like this guitar/ keyboard/drum part".Good luck to all of them. Anneke is my fav singer.
This song got me through very personal family issue death, break up divorce pain depression that is why I perform it with my band as a cover dedicated to the past that I am alive for now.
