The Ruts support the Damned in Hemelhempstead ... the PA nearly fell over .. facking awesome gig .. the Ruts were the better band :-)

A primal, locomotive rhythm track any blues band would envy, coupled with unequaled punk bite & atmosphere. We will not see their like again. I managed to get my hands on imported copies of The Crack & Grin & Bear it as a young man, which was not exactly easy in South Africa at the time, absolutely worshipped them along with The Clash, Jam, SLF, Members et al, & still stream The Ruts through my JBL on my verandah at least once a month
