Zappa was definitely listening to The Turtles. He wasted no time picking members up when The Turtles broke up. Amazing also, that Zappa was friends with Michael Nesmith of The Monkees. He knew who the real creative musicians were. Hidden away in what we called pop bands. Pop bands that knew what they were doing and were creative and inventive.
This "single" version is WAY better than the album version. For you Frank Zappa fans out there, imagine a world where The Monkees joined The Mothers Of Invention instead of The Turtles (I read a million years ago that Zappa wanted The Monkees). Imagine Mickey Dolenz and Davy Jones in 200 Motels ... crazy.
The glass sky is going to fall soon, because NASA and other space fraud organizations out there keep poking holes through the glass sky up 62 miles (100-120km). This is true.
