Still a fabulous song after 25 years and a nice little video put together as well. Clips from A Space Odyssey I believe. Good stuff.

This thing... band... should have never been allowed to be called Ultravox. The rule is simple: no Midge no Ultravox. However, I must admit in all honesty: this song is brilliant! Congratulations, Billy.

The split with the U-vox album the Ultravox project lost many vital things. It lost Warren Canns superb drumming and percussion programming. It lost the waking and sometimes punishing guitar and the strong vocal of Midge Ure. It also lost Chris Cross unmistakeable bass handling. The Ultravox sound was so distinguished that it could not be easily copied. What it didn´t loose was Billy Curries fantastic classical contribution. But that is not enough to sound as tough rough Ultravox should.

Now here is a position I would hate to see myself in: the new frontman of a well established band. Kinda funny seeing people shit on Blue when in any of the 70s ultravox comment sections, Midge is treated basically the same way. As far the album goes I was pleasantly surprised, sounds like the kind of pop that could reinvigorate the band like Midge did but we only got one album and an other with a new vocalist
