"Throwing pennies at the bridges down below" is a reference to throwing a penny out of the carriage as the train crosses over the viaduct at Drogheda railway station , the viaduct spans the river Boyne , at one stage it was the longest spanning bridge in Europe over a river. Generally people from the prodestant community would throw this penny into the Boyne river in honour of the battle of the Boyne which saw the Catholic king James deffeated by the prodestant king Billy . not been poilitical just a bit of trivia !!!!
