Jerry is one Hell of a songwriter. We know him as the Riff Lord, but his songwriting is brilliant ❤️

This song feels like a jab to Layne in my opinion. Jerry is very blunt but honest though, shows there was serious tension in the band before their long  hiatus, ups and downs I suppose. Layne was a flawed person, but still his good, friendly and creative moments are what shine trough to me in the end. The fault of his broken, depressed and addicted brain besides his own personality really set him on the path of complete self destruction and was his dark side I guess. I believe many suffering people can recognize themselves in to that.
