Layne Staley, OMG that voice!!! So much emotion in his lyrics and in his voice. Every time I listen to AIC I can feel his pain and everytime he has me in tears.

This whole concert is in my opinion the best aic concert, heck even the best concert in music. Layne is completely in the zone, hits every note, immense passion. He almost literaly embodies his music like he is possesed

Another lead singer taken from us way to soon. Alice in Chains was on the way to being a Hall of Fame band. I keep thinking about all the potential music we lost when Layne Staley died in 2002. In 2006 William DuVall joined the band as co-lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
